Education

Tertiary Scholarship Programme

Annual awards for needy but brilliant students pursuing higher education. The programme began in June 2021 with 30 beneficiaries and has since supported more than 400 students, including a GHC150,000 package for 100 students in April 2026.

Skills & livelihoods

GTA Licensing Project

A subsidised three-day programme that trained, regularised, and issued licences to more than 200 unlicensed drivers and motor riders in the constituency, with a pledge to repeat the support annually.

Affordable & Decentralised Housing Advocacy

Championing district-level housing schemes and teacher accommodation near rural schools, closing the gap between urban and rural living conditions through parliamentary and ministerial work.

Re-elected in December 2024 with 33,995 votes against 26,937 for Eugene Arhin, becoming the first MP in Awutu Senya West to secure a second consecutive term.

Previously served as a government appointee on the Awutu Senya District Assembly and chaired the District Works Sub-Committee, bringing technical oversight to local infrastructure decisions.

Education & Youth Development

Annual tertiary scholarships for needy but brilliant students, with mentoring under the theme Educate, Empower and Progress. More than 400 students have been supported since the programme began in 2021.

Water & Housing Infrastructure

From constituency water access to national policy work on affordable housing, decentralised district schemes, and resilient water supply systems as Deputy Minister for Works, Housing and Water Resources.

Community Development

Partnering with MMDAs and traditional authorities on schools, markets, roads, and social infrastructure across Awutu Senya West.

Constituency Engagement

An open office culture built on town halls, community visits, and direct dialogue with residents on the issues that shape daily life.
